Linux：man -f null -------------nothing appropriate？

今晚***

/dev/里有null这个文件
安装了最新的man
updatedb
makewhatis
都执行过。
执行 man -f passwd的时候没有也没有显示配置文件。
不知道是为什么？
[root@localhost ~]# man -f null
null: nothing appropriate
[root@localhost ~]# man -f passwd
passwd (1) - update user's authentication tokens
passwd [sslpasswd] (1ssl) - compute password hashes
[root@localhost ~]# man -f zero
zero: nothing appropriate
[root@localhost ~]#
